Application of dry ice industrial cleaning

Dry Ice Blasting (Co2) provides superior results and no residual effects to the structure or environment. Instead of using hard abrasive media to grind on a surface (and damage it), dry ice blasting uses dry ice pellets, accelerated at supersonic speeds, and creates mini-explosions on the surface to lift the undesirable item off the underlying substrate. There is no secondary waste to clean up.

For an environmentally responsible cleaning, dry Ice ( CO2 )  blasting is the most requested industrial cleaning method today, and is used in many different industries. Hygienists, engineers, media and customers are all recommending the dry ice cleaning process over other conventional cleaning methods that aren't as employee friendly and environmentally safe. The dry ice blast cleaning process is being used in almost all industries and saves the customers time, money, and health concerns.

Working principle Of Wantong Dry ice blaster

About the dry ice blast cleaning effect , it is based on three principles:

· Thermal effect: Dry ice pellets temperature is -79°C / -110°F, so the impurities cool sharply due to the different coefficient of thermal expansion, the impurities will shrink and loose.

· Movement effect : When leaving the spray gun nozzle,the dry ice pellets get a high kinetic energy, and then hit the impurities at a high speed which is almost equal to the speed of sound.

· Sublimation effect/volume expansion: The dry ice particles are ejected onto the surface of a fragile impurity, and immediately sublimate into a gas upon contact. It rapidly increases in volume by about 700 times, helping to remove pollutants.
